The Charity Committee of the Upper School at BGS chose ‘a LIFE for a CURE’ as their charity for the whole of the Spring Term 2011. We were honoured to attend their school assembly at the beginning of February to explain Ryan’s story and Appeal as an introduction to their charity week.

Their school magazine details their ‘fun’ raising events.

Thank you to all staff, parents and pupils for the most amazing contribution of £3,053.

BGS have also been part of a very special event that has taken place at Clifton Rugby Club in September 2010 and 2011. Their Rugby 1st XV and U10’s have battled it out against Clifton College’s respective teams at the Ryan Bresnahan Memorial Rugby Match. Both evenings have been truly memorable with record numbers of spectators creating a passionate atmosphere, and raising £4,000. Our thanks go to Rick Sellers for organising BGS and being so supportive of the occasion. For full details go to the event listed under ‘Completed Events’
