✨ Brilliant news! ✨
A one-off MenB vaccination programme was introduced July 2026 to protect anyone born between 1st September 2007 and 31st August 2008 including those starting university or residential further education colleges in autumn 2026.All young people within the Year 13 date of birth range will be contacted directly by the NHS 📲 via the app, text, email, or letter—no matter their education plans.
‘a Life for a Cure’ and other meningitis charities played a key role in securing the evidence needed to prioritise the MenB vaccine.
🙌 Thank you to all our supporters who signed the No Plan B for Men B campaign led by Meningitis Now.

This free life saving MenB vaccine is free for a limited period only. Michelle Bresnahan appeared on ITV West Country News in September 26, emphasising that it’s not too late by urging viewers to take advantage of this easily accessible protection against this devastating disease. Check the NHS website for pharmacies and eligibility.

📣Please share this information with young adults and families who may be eligible.

💫 This is amazing progress and we’re so proud to have helped drive change through Ryan’s Next Chapter. The campaigning continues to ensure more at risk age groups are offered the vaccine as part of the routine programmes,
🙏 Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support in helping us protect young lives from this devastating disease. 💙.
