I am excited to announce that ‘a Life for a Cure’ became a Registered Charity No. 1179345 in the summer.
The principal focus and purpose of ‘a Life for a Cure’ will continue, which is simply to prevent other young adults losing their lives to meningitis, but the formalisation will bring independence, structure and recognition. I am thrilled about this enhancement and excited about the diversity and beneficial qualities that Shims (Charlotte), Ryan’s sister, and Rob Carter, Ryan’s uncle, will add moving forward to create a stronger voice.
As with all our charity events, laughter, love and dedication were in abundance at our first Trustees meeting. Huge thanks to you both and I look forward to this special time together.
