During 2009/10 season the Rugby Football Union is celebrating the stadiums 100th year with a number of special events and activities.
Sally Carter, Ryan’s God Mother, Aunty and Special Friend, has very kindly purchased an ‘Inscribed Stone’ for Ryan which will be mounted on a wall on the stadium perimeter at the Rugby Road entrance, adjacent to the North East stand and will be unveiled later this year.
Stones are high quality African Red varnished granite stone and embossed with gold paint. All stones will have a gold England rose and two lines of text. This new initiative follows on from the success of the England Rugby Walk of Legends, which runs around the stadium perimeter and is formed from over 14,000 stones.
