Always such a pleasure and honour to present the Ryan Bresnahan trophy for the girls memorial match.
This year, the Clifton College fixture was against Millfield. It was a very competitive game, played in great spirits and it was an amazing advert for girls sport at the College. The girls championed the introduction of their own match to play in memory in Ryan, only 2 years ago. So very heartwarming that they felt so passionate to host their own special event.
Huge thanks to both schools and the many spectators who came along on a chilly afternoon to cheer the girls on. Such a special occasion as always and we wish the girls who are leaving school for their next chapter, luck and happiness. Sophie Houghton Clifton’s Captain pictured below, has been a great supporter of ‘a Life for a Cure’ her whole school life – where have the years gone!
