A LOOK BACK AT 2020
We thought we’d take a look at 2020 – check out the short video. It certainly has been a testing year for everyone, but we are always overwhelmed with the support and enthusiasm we receive.

In the absence of being able to hold our usual calendar of events due to CV-19 restrictions, we were able to channel our attention into increasing the awareness of meningitis focussed at young adults (15-24-year-olds) the second at-risk category of contracting meningitis.

The Meningitis Now Student Awareness Campaign last summer was funded purely by ‘a Life for a Cure’. This will be the 4th year that we have supported this essential tool to protect our nearest and dearest – a total contribution of £120,000. The campaign reached nearly 40 million listeners with the radio coverage getting the attention of Sky requesting Ryan’s story to feature in the Sky Daily Podcast covering Meningitis: Surviving, loss & the science. Please take a listen & share. Very proud that we may be achieving our sole purpose that some good must come from losing Ryan.

We, of course, couldn’t have done it without your continued support. Thank you for sticking with us: together is always better. We are excited for more of the same in 2021.
